At Outer Rim Props, your satisfaction is our top priority. We want you to feel confident buying our Star Wars-inspired DIY kits and finished blasters. This policy explains our current return and refund process in detail.
Return Window
You may initiate a return within 30 days of receiving your order. The 30-day period starts from the delivery date shown on your tracking information.
Return Eligibility
- Items must be unused, in original condition, and returned in their original packaging with all accessories and documentation.
- Both DIY kits and finished Star Wars blasters are eligible for return under this policy.
- Items must not show signs of use, assembly (for kits), or wear.
Non-Returnable Items
At this time, we do not have any categories marked as “Final Sale.” However, we reserve the right to refuse returns that are damaged due to customer misuse or improper packaging.
How to Initiate a Return
- Contact us at outerrimpropsllc@gmail.com or use the contact form on our website.
- Provide your order number, the product(s) you wish to return, and the reason for the return.
- Wait for our approval before shipping the item back. Returns sent without prior approval may be refused or delayed.
Return Shipping
- Outer Rim Props covers the cost of return shipping for all approved returns within the continental United States.
- Once your return is approved, we will email you a prepaid return shipping label.
- For international orders, returns are handled on a case-by-case basis. Please contact us for specific instructions. International customers are generally responsible for return shipping costs unless the item is defective.
Restocking Fee
- All returns are subject to a 15% restocking fee, which will be deducted from your refund.
- This fee may be waived in certain situations (such as manufacturing issues or high-value orders) at our discretion.
Damaged or Defective Items
If your product arrives damaged or defective:
- Notify us within 48 hours of delivery with clear photos of the damage.
- We will arrange a full refund or replacement at no cost to you.
- All shipments are sent insured. We handle any insurance claims directly with the carrier.
Refund Process
- Refunds are issued to your original payment method.
- Once we receive and inspect the returned item, your refund (minus any applicable restocking fee) will be processed within 3 business days.
- Please allow additional time (typically 5–10 business days) for your bank or credit card issuer to post the credit to your account.
Exchanges
We do not offer direct exchanges at this time. If you need a different item, please return the original for a refund and place a new order.
Important Notes
- We reserve the right to deny returns that do not meet our eligibility requirements.
- Customers are responsible for properly packaging returned items to prevent damage during transit. We are not responsible for items damaged due to poor packaging.
- This policy applies to purchases made directly through outerrimprops.com.
