Who's Behind This
I'm Jeff β the one-man operation behind Outer Rim Props. I've been collecting Star Wars cards since the hobby was measured in nickel packs, and I've been building props and replicas out of my shop in Molalla, Oregon for years. I'm a 501st Legion member, a lifelong Star Wars fan, and a card collector myself. When you send your cards in, you're shipping them to someone who actually knows what a Smugglers Outpost Chrome Black parallel is worth β not a faceless resale warehouse. I evaluate every card personally, price everything off real sold comps, and I treat your collection the way I'd want mine treated.
Two Ways to Trade
Option 1: Trade Cards Directly for a Blaster
If your cards add up to the value of a blaster, we do a straight swap. You send the cards, we send you a blaster. No cash changes hands. We cover shipping on every completed direct trade.
Option 2: Earn Store Credit
Don't have enough for a full swap? No problem. We'll evaluate what you've got and issue store credit you can put toward anything β finished blasters, DIY kits, engraved nameplates, wall art. Stack credit from multiple trade-ins until you're ready to pull the trigger on the piece you've been watching.
How It Works
- Submit your cards. Fill out our trade form with photos of the cards you'd like to trade. Front and back shots help, especially for autos, sketch cards, and numbered parallels. Include a card count and the product line (Chrome, Masterwork, Galaxy, etc.).
- We evaluate and make you an offer. Every card is priced off recent eBay sold comps and Beckett β no guesswork, no lowball flat rates. You'll get a trade value offer within a few business days.
- You ship your cards. Once you accept the offer, ship your cards to us in Molalla, Oregon. Need supplies? Order our free shipping kit β it includes penny sleeves, top loaders, a bubble mailer, and a pre-printed address label. On us.
- We verify and deliver. Once your cards arrive and check out, we either ship your blaster (free shipping) or issue your store credit. Done.
What a Trade Looks Like
Example: A collector recently submitted photos of a small stack β a handful of Chrome base cards, a couple of numbered parallels, and one auto hit. We comped everything against recent eBay sold listings, came back with a trade value of $95, and they applied it as store credit toward a DL-44 DIY kit. Cards arrived in good shape, credit was issued, kit shipped the same week. Start to finish, about 10 days.
What Cards We Accept
We accept all Topps Star Wars sets β vintage, modern, and everything in between. The 1977 originals, Chrome, Finest, Masterwork, Galaxy, Chrome Black, all of it. Sketch cards, autograph cards, relic hits, numbered parallels, and base cards are all fair game. There's no minimum trade value and no minimum card count.
Condition matters. A mint vintage pull and a creased one aren't the same conversation. Send clear photos and be upfront about condition β it makes the evaluation faster and the offer more accurate.
What If the Trade Doesn't Work Out?
It happens β sometimes a card looks different in person, or the numbers just don't line up. If we can't reach a deal that works for both sides, we ship your cards back at our expense. You're never out of pocket and you're never stuck without your collection. We'd rather return your cards and keep your trust than force a trade that doesn't feel right.
